The lovely people who work there and the adorable cats really make the experience perfect. We would even suggest some organized shelter and feeding stations for the cats over the winter, since they are so cute and friendly and everybody seems to love them.
Everything is very clean and comfortable, we enjoyed a very relaxing week.

The road to Potos is amazing, the location is beautiful, the hosts are excellent, but the local authorities do not seem to care too much to preserve the traditional places or local architecture. The streets are destroyed and full of dust, many houses or buildings are in ruins. The beaches are small and crowded, too small for the number of tourists from the city. On the other hand, there are very good restaurants (Poseidon, Irene, etc), where the food is very fresh, big size, and the services pretty good. All in all is good. The local hosts and good restaurants make the difference.

I can only say I've made a good choice.
I can only say I've made a good choice. Potos has good tavernas, nice beach with good beach bars. Enough entertainment for the kid and us adults. I would not necessarily recommend the two most busy taverna's: Irene and Poseidon. The food was a bit close to mediocre in both locations. At Irene's I liked the cheese dip and the tomato soup. From Poseidon nothing stood up. Don't get me wrong, the food is ok the service is fast -- almost to fast. At Irene's you feel like in a train station and the stuffs runs all over like 'headless chickens'... it's like in an McDo... but with home meals. I hope they finish the road works in Potos for the next season. There was a lot of dust.

Very nice place. Lots of flowers everywhere. Extremely tasty food almost everywhere. We recommend Taverna Laskarina. The most delicious seafood we have ever eaten! Lots of playgrounds for kids. We did not like the fact that cars pass everywhere. There is no street only for pedestrians. Its very hard to find parking space especially when you have a big car. Very busy traffic on weekends.

Quite a few places to eat and some nightlife (given that we went at the end of season and during the pandemic) - Irene tavern being the most well known but also extremely busy at all times. Out favourite beach was crystal blue - very clean, nice water, beautiful sunsets.

Potos, same like other all cities in Thassos is a good place to go for relax, Is good to choose to stay there because from Potos you can go to visit left or right side of island because city is palaced on the oposite side of Limenas.

Easy acces by car to diffrent wellknown Beaches ( Psili Amos, Marble, etc . Defenitly will return to this location if will return to Thasos

Also close to public free parking (near the beach) or a paid parking - 15m (3€/day), but has also 2 parking lots. The suite has a small kitchen but very useful with dishes and other things. The suite has a balcony where we served breakfast. The hosts are very friendly! You can ask "where to" questions and they gave you right answers. Thank you Mr. and Ms. Lampiris for hosting us! The pool is large and almost always empty. The bungalow was spacious and equipped with everything you might need. The rooms are cleaned regularly and towels were exchanged every 2 days. It is located just outside of Potos where there is a large market with everything you might need, and also close to some really nice beaches. WiFi was excellent in the whole complex.

Location is perfect. 3 minutes by foot from Potos center but away from main road, gives peace and quiet during day and night. Property has outdoor kitchen and gym, table tennis, hammocks...
